Online and mobile casino games supplier and aggregator iSoftBet has unveiled the latest installment in its popular Twisted Tale series, Brides of Dracula Hold & Win, complete with in-game modifiers, bonus rounds and more, just in time for Halloween!
In the supplier’s contribution to the famous Transylvanian legend, Dracula is not quite so unnerving, as he appears to be pleased with his three brides whose main goal is to do his bidding in this 5-reel, 3-row video slot. The medium to high volatility, 25 paylines game has a 95.50 percent RTP and 6,040x max win and is playable on any device including desktop, tablet and mobile.
Gameplay and symbols:
The game is set amid a backdrop that includes an icy full moon high in the evening sky and Dracula’s imposing castle, where blood-red lights can be seen burning menacingly in the windows, are positioned to the right of the game grid, and winter trees stripped bare of their leaves stand to the left.
Players will need to land three or more matching symbols or wilds across a payline from left to right from reel one in order to score a payout here. Low pays include four gothic-style J-A royals while the trio of vampire brides and Dracula himself are the premiums. The grinning Count is the most valuable symbol, awarding 6, 8, or 16 times the total stake for landing 3, 4, or 5 across a payline. The full moon is the Scatter with a cash value.
Van Helsing, the famous vampire hunter who wears his epic green hat, serves as the game’s wild and can land anywhere on the reels. The character can replace regular pay symbols or form combinations worth 2, 10, or 20 times the total stake for a 3, 4, or 5-symbol win on a payline.
During gameplay, on any spin players could benefit from three modifiers while the main goal of the game is to trigger the Hold & Win feature, aka the Brides of Dracula Respins, which is accomplished by landing at least 5 scatter/moon symbols.
Meanwhile, on any regular spin the Pick a Letter feature can be activated, presenting players with three sealed letters/envelopes to choose one from, each of which represents a unique modifier, including:
- Win Spin – adds mystery symbols to the reels, which transform into the same matching symbol. When this feature is active, a win is guaranteed.
- Bonus Add – adds extra moon scatters to all 5 reels, boosting the chance of activating the Brides of Dracula Respins.
- Wild Desire – here, stacked wilds are added to the grid, with each covering all positions on its respective reel. When active, landing between 2 and 5 stacked wilds is possible. This modifier is a nod to Microgaming’s classic, Immortal Romance.
As mentioned, Brides of Dracula Respins are triggered by landing at least 5 moon scatters, which then awards 3 respins to start, and any addditional scatter that lands during the feature sticks in place resetting the respins. What’s more, there are special gem symbols of Reel Boosters that can land during the round. Collecting 3 like gems triggers one of the following boosters:
- Blue gems unlock up to 3 additional rows on the game grid.
- Green gems increase the value of the prize amounts attached to each of the moon symbols.
- Red gems awards an extra respin.
- Purple gems delivers a multiplier, which can inclrease the overall payout by 2x, 5x, or 10x.
In the feature, scatter values are worth from 1x to 1,000x the bet while any multiplier won goes toward the final win amount.
