In Russia and the first phase of the $45 million Shambala Casino from local concern Shambala CJSC is reportedly set to fully open on Friday complete with a restaurant, a theater, a pair of fast-food venues and a 55,970 sq ft casino.
According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming, the gambling-friendly property for the Primorye Integrated Entertainment Resort zone near the Siberian city of Vladivostok held a soft launch twelve days ago following a little over two years of construction and is now expecting to attract upwards of 100,000 visitors a year.
The source moreover reported that the premiere follows the opening some five years ago of the nearby Tigre De Cristal development from Summit Ascent Holdings Limited and is to be followed by the construction from 2022 of a $62 million second phase that will add a 270-room hotel as well as more family-focused facilities including a pair of amusement parks, a golf course and a diving club.

Located approximately 30 miles north of Vladivostok, the Primorye Integrated Entertainment Resort zone is reportedly one of only five disparate areas in Russia where casino gambling is permitted. The precinct could purportedly furthermore welcome the $350 million Seaside Entertainment Resorts City property from Cambodian casino operator NagaCorp Limited as soon as next year with local concern Diamond Fortune Holdings said to be continuing with its plan to open the initial phase of the $270 million Selena World Resort and Casino by the end of 2022.
